Here we are in Sioux Center. It's 8:20 and we are relaxing at the Ron Oman camp, drinking cold beverages and enjoying the breeze. We rolled into town about 1:30. Although it was hot and humid, we had a nice breeze that saved us. Our tents and bikes came together beautifully. We then took off to see the Expo, which was held in the black asphalt parking lot of the local college pool. We wandered around for a bout an hour before, hunger, thrist, heat, and overall fatigue took its toll. We had Iowa corn. Debbie inhaled a tri tip c in the pool building. Better yet, the ice rink area was open. Although there was no ice, we laid cement and each of us passed out. Refreshed, we heading to the town center for dinner. Pizza Ranch and its all you can each buffet for $10. What a deal. By the time we came back to camp, thee weather had cooled down nicely.
Sights of the day included:people of every shape and size. A surprising number of Pats (gender ambiguous), and hundreds of tents.
