Resting in the high school library

We are hot and tired. Found some shade and good reading material in the high school library.

Local flavor if Sutherlin

We've been wondering around Sutherlin sweating up a storm. Jettie has become Sweatie. Here are shots of the mobile showers (heaven). Jett's new tatt. Our blue wrist bands which are our ticket for meals all all the other CO amenities. We also found the beer/wine garden, but Jett & Janie prefer their beer in a bag.

Day 0

Starting off day zero (tomorrow is day 1) a bit mixed. Slept well in the tent. Forgot Jett's creamer for her tea this am (strike 1) then knocked her over in the car while gunning up a hill (strike 2).

Enough about my problems. Janie's bike (Lorenzo) is being repaired. She wrung his neck upon reassembly from the bike box. Jacked up headset. Happily CO has a full range repair service.

Meanwhile we have a horse show next door. Good times!

First night

Had greasy pizza in town for dinner. Sutherlin is sad and empty. Hope the 2000 cyclists bring a lot if $$ to the town. Love my new jersey! Also the CO volunteers are wonderful. I had the pink lady handling my registration.

We're here!

We knew this was gonna be special when they directed us to park the car "down the lane, turn left at the horse" we are about to pitch our tent. The first of six times. The last shot is a reference to Janie's Scarlet Knights.
