California Dream Ride Day 2 Photos

x
With a feather in his cap, 87-years young Harvey inspires the girls to up their wardrobe game.

This is Seven. He's awesome. He's a blogger (Sprocketblog).
He's from Moscow. He needs new handlebar tape.

Here we are on the cool little protected pathway west of the UC Davis campus, heading toward Winters.

Canada geese in the fields adjacent to UC Davis.

Riding through Graffiti Bridge.

Enjoying Riddle's Haiku cycling poems...

This one was a winner.

And somehow Chere divested (de-tutu-ed?) Kathleen and sported the pink tutu all day.
I was hoping the tutu would make the rounds and end up on Pat (the Alpine Beer handlebar mustache guy)...

Boys on a break with the ride leader and crew recon the next stretch of our make-it-up-as-we go route. They did a truly amazing job!!!
And my favorite part of the day - a ride though the Esparto cemetery. Gorgeous!

After exiting the cemetery, we rode through a secret orchard. Loved it.

Rest stop in Woodland.

Yeah, we rode all day in this crappy air.  Oh well...

More haiku for your enjoyment.
